For consideration of environmental impacts (22.214.171.124) (126.96.36.199) and environmental aspects (188.8.131.52) (184.108.40.206), the life cycle comprises all stages, from raw material (ISO 6707‑1:2004, 6.1.1) acquisition or generation of natural resources to final disposal (3.13.2).
For consideration of economic impacts (3.21.2) and economic aspects (3.14.1), in terms of costs (ISO 6707‑1:2004, 9.3.86), the life cycle comprises all stages from construction (ISO 6707‑1:2004, 7.1.1) to decommissioning. A period of analysis (3.30) can be chosen to be different from the life cycle. See ISO 15686-5.
